Charade Circuit

The concept of our driving days

Come and drive your vehicle on the mythical Charade circuit. You will drive on a hilly track of 4km with 18 bends, located 10min from Clermont-Ferrand! Alone or with several drivers, discover the sensations of driving on this magnificent circuit near Clermont-Ferrand during friendly, non-series driving days (open pitlane) organised by Nomad Driving Event.

We have been organising Trackdays for several years, and every year we organise around 50 car trackdays on the most beautiful circuits in France: Charade, Magny-Cours, Le Mans, Le Castellet, Dijon-Prenois, Nogaro, Val de Vienne, le Mas du Clos, etc.

Safety and quality of driving are our priorities:

• We pay particular attention to the respect of safety instructions on the track. Drivers responsible for dangerous behaviour will be warned and may be excluded from riding if necessary.
• We limit the number of vehicles on the track to offer you excellent driving conditions.
• We limit the number of vehicles registered to maximise your driving time in Open Pitlane.

Program of the driving days on your car in Charade

• 7.45 am: Welcome of the participants and static sound check of each vehicle (or 1.15 pm for afternoon registrations). Only vehicles that do not exceed 90db will be allowed to drive.
• 8.30 am: Technical and safety briefing (or 1.30 pm for afternoon entries). Compulsory briefing: in case of delay, participants will have to attend a second briefing after the start of the drive
• 9am - 12pm: Rolling without series
• 12pm - 2pm: Lunch break (meal not included - food truck present on some dates)

• 2pm - 5pm: Ride without heats

  Conditions of participation in Trackdays

  • Authorised vehicles: All types of sports vehicles in good working order except open-wheeled vehicles. The vehicles must be insured in Civil Liability on circuit, respect the sound limits imposed by the circuit (90db on the Charade circuit) and be equipped with a towing ring. It is the driver's responsibility to ensure that his vehicle does not exceed the 90db authorised. Beyond 90db, the vehicle will not be allowed to run and no refund of the registration fee will be made.
• Compulsory equipment: Helmet at least to CE standard, long clothes covering arms and legs (trousers for women), complete equipment for competition vehicles (see the list in our rules)
• Conditions of participation: Driver's licence required, minimum age 16 for passengers
• Documents to be provided on the day of the Trackday: Rules of our Trackdays completed, signed and dated on the date of the Trackday (1 copy / driver)

Included in the Trackday registration

• Track access for 1 driver / car (additional drivers at extra cost)
• Passengers over 16 years old allowed and free of charge
• Open soft bar all day including pastries, coffee and cold drinks
• Emergency and breakdown service on the track
• Extra charge: Personalized coaching with an instructor upon reservation.
