The Circuit du Mas du Clos counts as one of Europe's most beautiful raceways, and was built in 1963 in the heart of France, approximately 90 kilometers west of Clermont-Ferrand. During a visit, Jim Clark expressed his enthusiasm for the circuit, which has seen action by various illustrious teams, and car and tyre manufacturers. Clubs also regularly stage their events here.

The Circuit du Mas du Clos was recently rebuilt, and is now also homologated for motorcycles. The layout runs through the foothills of a central massif, and offers various challenging layouts featuring unique sectors. The course is extremely fast and technically challenging, thus making driving skill paramount. The complex includes a museum displaying a Ferrari collection, and a castle in which hotel rooms may be rented.
