The Katsergiene Circuit, also known as Nemuno Ziedas (Nemuno-Ring), is Lithuania's only permanent circuit. It is situated close to Kaunas, approximately 100 kilometers west of the capital Vilnius. The original Katsergiene circuit was built in 1960, and was comprehensively renovated at the turn of the century. The approximately 3.3 kilometer circuit currently hosts rounds of the Lithuanian and Baltic Touring Car Championships.
In addition, Katsergiene regularly features events for professionals and amateurs, including track days for cars and motorcycles, and drift training. The basic circuit can be extended to over seven kilometers through the incorporation of nearby public roads, which layout is regularly used for rally special stages.
