The Circuito di Cellole, also known as the International Motor Speedway, is situated in the south of Italy, approximately 60 kilometres north of Naples and a short distance from the Tyrrhenian Sea. Although short, the layout is technically interesting and consists of fast sectors as well as a tight section with slow corners. Extensive run-off areas ensure safety, while the asphalt track surface is wide, flat, and offers good grip levels. Proximity to Italy's southern Mediterranean coast virtually guarantees good weather throughout the year.
