In total, the track has 19 curves and is mostly 12 metres wide. For the conception and realisation of the circuit, the operators secured the services of two veritable icons: The well-known racetrack architect Hermann Tilke designed the track. The architect of numerous Formula 1 race tracks was supported by none other than rally world champion Walter Röhrl. They were able to plan almost on a blank sheet of paper, taking advantage of the existing and quite charming topography.
