Pau, situated in the south of France, has gained fame through its street circuit. However, the equally attractive Circuit de Pau Arnos, designed for both cars and motorcycles, is situated close to the city. The region’s climate makes for optimum weather conditions, while transport connections are convenient: Pau International Airport is situated 12 kilometers away, while the circuit can easily be reached by both motorway and TGV.
The circuit is situated at the base of the Pyrenees, and with an altitude difference of 55 metres resembles a rollercoaster. The circuit offers a mix of fast and slow corners, and can be arranged in a variety of technically challenging layouts. The asphalt was resurfaced in 2008, and offers good grip levels.
