The Circuit de Croix-en-Ternois is situated in western France, and is easily reached from Great Britain as Calais is around 100 kilometres away. The circuit was opened in 1973, and was the first French track to host a round of the European F3 Championship. At the turn of the millennium the complex was totally modernised.

The layout offers an interesting mix of challenges, including a long straight and a hairpin bend. In total the nine-metre wide course offers six turns of varying radii. The Circuit de Croix-en-Ternois regularly hosts national car and motorcycle rounds, and is also used for club racing and other events.
