The Motopark Raceway is situated near the town of Virtasalmi in east Finland, 300 kilometres northeast of Helsinki. The complex includes a raceway, rallycross course and drag racing strip, last-named a 400m strip opened in 1987 as Finland's first such facility. The Motopark Raceway is still considered the home of Finnish drag racing.

In the nineties this stadium-type facility was extended to include a 3.5 kilometer-long race circuit and 3,0 kilometre rallycross track. The circuit has a total of 17 turns, some of which are extremely tight. The circuit is used by both cars and motorcycles.
