The Botniaring is situated near Jurva in south-western Finland. The circuit was opened in 1989, and is viewed as one of Scandinavia's newer venues. Since its opening the circuit has counted as one of the region's most popular tourist attractions. The Botniaring hosts mainly national series and club races, but has in recent times staged NEZ (North European Zone) events.
