The 4 km long track will get FIA Homologation Grade 1T, which means that all categories of racing cars - without any exception - can race on it. Formula 1 cars are allowed to test on the circuit. In case of a F1 Grand Prix the circuit would get FIA Grade 1 homologation. The track is also built and homologated to the standards for World Championship bike races, means World Superbike Championship and Moto GP.
The combination of slow and fast corners will allow close competition and guarantees lots of overtaking. Several short cuts allow to use the track in 17 different configurations, thereof 3 main configurations: Grand Prix Circuit 4 km, Sprint Circuit 2.5 km and Supersprint Circuit 1.3 km. Highlight is the 1 km long back straight leading to the entry of the Start/Finish straight. Moscow Raceway circuit configurations and facilities are state of the art and suitable for all kind of track usage: Product presentations, driver training programs, conferences, safety courses, tests, racing school programs, track days etc. The facility will be dominated by the pit building complex and the race tower.
