Talladega Superspeedway is situated in the town of the same name in the US State of Alabama, and was opened in 1969. The name is its calling card: At 2.66 miles, the oval is the longest on the NASCAR calendar, with the series visiting superspeedway twice annually. Its turns feature gradients of up to 33 degrees, while massive grandstands accommodate over 143 000 spectators, many of whom camp on the expansive infield.

In addition to staging NASCAR and ARCA race weekends, Talladega Superspeedway is available for a variety of events. Motor manufacturers hire the complex for test drives and customer events, while it is also available for driver training purposes, film and TV production and exhibitions and receptions.
