The Vålerbanen motorsport complex is situated in Braskereidfoss in southeastern Norway, approximately 160 kilometers from the capital Oslo. The complex encompasses a 2.3 kilometer circuit, an off-road course for all-wheel drive vehicles, a kart track, and special surfaces for driver/safety training. Vålerbanen forms part of the Norsk Trafikksenter, and thus also offers ice-driving courses to students.

The circuit flows easily and offers good overtaking possibilities. It is included on Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) calendars, and other annual highlights include the Gatebil event, Norway's largest amateur motorsport event, which includes sports car exhibitions, and a classic and sports car meeting. Track days are also regularly staged.
