Launch world's first app for track days
With the world's first smartphone app around the booking and management of trackdays, driving events and test days, Circuit Booking continues to expand the service for the motorsport enthusiast car and motorbike customer.
Since fall 2020, as an international digital B2B marketplace around race tracks, we also offer bookable events for private customers who are passionate about track days with their cars or motorbikes. Due to the great demand in the B2C area, the offers for motor sports enthusiastic end customers will be bundled on the Circuit Booking website and the globally unique app now. Our B2B business will operate under the Circuit Business brand in the future.
Circuit Booking is once again setting industry standards in the handling of offers, bookings and management of track days, test days and on-track experiences on racetracks and is ensuring greater convenience and service quality with the app. The range of functions goes far beyond the actual booking process.
For example, the selected on-track experience can be booked with just a few clicks, without having to register again and again with the respective organizer. The individual profile is managed centrally by the user - including all booking-relevant data. Users can add vehicles to their virtual garage, and can currently choose from 66,000 cars and motorcycles. At the same time, the website and app also allow users to book additional services specific to the organizer, such as pit spaces, catering, individual coaching or the addition of second drivers or co-drivers.
Payment is made securely by credit card, Google Pay or Apple Pay directly to the respective organizer. No extra booking or credit card fees apply.
In addition to the booking process, the system provides paperless access at any time to bookings already made, changes or cancellations, the receipt of push messages from the operator, for example, or the chat with customer service.
"We love state-of-the-art user experiences and have incorporated all of our know-how from over ten years of handling bookings around race tracks into the development of the app and marketplace technology.
Our app is particularly easy to use and forms the basis for further features that we will introduce step by step for the trackday community. The Circuit Booking App thus also reflects to a certain extent our self-image of consistently gearing our offer and service to customer wishes," says Sebastian Herke.
At the same time, the app is another element in the repositioning of Circuit Booking. "The great interest since the launch of our trackday marketplace at the end of 2020 has of course made us very happy. We realized that addressing end customers and business customers from the motorsport environment at the same time does not really do justice to either of these dialogue groups. The brand split and renaming of the B2B business under the new brand Circuit Business creates more clarity on the customer side and enables us to address our customers more directly.
