Circuit Booking launches multilingual capability

As of today, Circuit Booking's online offering is available to customers in both English and German. The launch of the multilingual online offering on circuit-booking.com follows the launch of the track day marketplace, which is primarily aimed at end-customer users.

"We want to give our customers a better user experience with multilingualism and take away the worry of booking something in a language they may not feel 100% confident in," said Sebastian Herke, managing partner of circuit-booking.com. "When we launched the multilingual feature, it was particularly important to us that we could also automatically translate the track day providers' offer descriptions in a high language quality, because these offer descriptions are often only available in the track day provider's native language."

To realize this requirement, we use translation technologies that our users are familiar with, for example, from common social media platforms.

Simultaneously with the launch of multilingualism, we offer track day customers and organizers the possibility to store the languages they speak as a customer or as an organizer team in their profile.

"Track day customers can thus very easily see if they have an organizer-side contact during the event with whom they can talk in their native or 'feel-good' language," Herke said. "A common language of communication is an important aspect in terms of track day safety, as it is the only way to ensure that relevant information can be exchanged between all parties in an understandable way.

The launch of our track day offering in German forms the strategic basis for us to make Circuit Booking available in other languages in the future.
