Spa-Francorchamps, Zolder, Jackie Ickx - these illustrious names are enough to set any motorsport fan's pulse racing. The first Belgian Grand Prix was held at the natural racetrack in Spa-Francorchamps in 1925. Until then the circuit, which generations of racing drivers class among their very favorite tracks, was predominantly used by motorbikes.
Alongside as Spa, which has hosted one of the most prestigious 24-hour races in the world since 1924, the Zolder circuit also plays an important role in Belgian motorsport history. The circuit near Hasselt hosted the might of Formula One on ten occasions between 1973 and 1984.
