Las Vegas Motor Speedway is a major motorsport complex situated north of Las Vegas in Nevada, with a 1.5-mile oval - on which the NASCAR-Weekend, incorporating Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series is contested annually - lying at its core. Indy Racing League, ChampCar Series and other top open-wheel racing categories were previously regular visitors to the Speedway.

Beside the superspeedway, the Las Vegas Motor Speedway complex incorporates two road courses plus a drag strip, the latter regularly staging national NHRA drag events. Numerous race teams are based at the circuit, with a variety of motor manufacturers and international corporations hiring the speedway and its facilities for corporate events. In addition the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police uses the complex for driver training.
