Bremerton MotorSports Park is a voluntary, non-profit organisation, set up in 2002 with the aim of establishing a new regional, multi-purpose motorsport facility. Also designed as a relaxation area and leisure park, the project is in keeping with Kitsap County's big racing tradition, which has been of great importance in the region since the 1950s when the first sports car races were held here.

Part of a former airport has been used as a racetrack in the past, but this was not available as a permanent circuit. The advanced plans for a new, comprehensive motorsport facility include classic asphalt circuits, motocross tracks, a drag strip, and various test circuits.
