The Pembrey Circuit is located in South Wales and is often referred to as the "Home of Welsh Motorsport". The track hosts car, bike and kart races, as well as rallies and sprints. The circuit was designed in the 1980s and built on the site of the former military airfield at Pembrey, which had most recently been used as a chicken farm. The first race was held there in May 1989.

Thanks to its variety of corners, the Pembrey Circuit has already been a popular test track - even among Formula One teams. McLaren tested there with Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost at the end of the 1980s, while Arrows, Benetton, Jordan and Williams have also visited Pembrey to prepare for the Grand Prix season. A new pit lane was built in the winter of 2005/2006. Today, only occasional races are held at the Pembrey Circuit. The main business comes from track days, making the circuit very popular among private drivers in particular.
