The circuit of unlimited possibilities: a perfect description of the Circuito di Balocco, situated 60 kilometres north east of Turin. Situated on some 500 hectares, the circuit offers a host of layout options, from an oval-like high-speed course to a sinuous circuit comprising a series of tight corners. The layouts total over 65 kilometres if added together. The individual circuits criss-cross the large oval via a series of tunnel and bridges.

The Circuito di Balocco was built in the early sixties by Alfa Romeo as test facility for its production vehicles, prototypes and race cars, with Alfa Romeo in 1982 even introducing a Balocco edition of the GTV-6 - named after the circuit. The facility is available to other manufacturers for testing purposes, and also finds regular use as a club motorsport venue.
