The Autodromo dell' Umbria is situated near Magione in Umbria in central Italy, and can be easily reached via the E45 motorway. The circuit was opened in 1973, and quickly developed into a centre for Italian motorsport. In the seventies Michele Alboreto, Enzo Coloni and Enzo de Angelis all featured on the circuit's Formula 3 winner's roll.

The Autodromo dell' Umbria has since been regularly upgraded to its current 2.5 kilometre length, and is used for national racing, club racing, testing, track days and private events. A Supermoto course is sited beside the main circuit, while non-motorsports visitors may enjoy themselves on two mini soccer fields. Athletics events are held on the property, and a swimming pool is also planned.
