The Autodromo del Levante is a compact circuit situated approximately 20 kilometres from the coastal town of Bari in the south of Italy. After an extended planning period in the eighties, the authorities eventually granted permission for the construction of the Autodromo, which was opened in 1989.The layout offers a mix of two long straights, fast and medium corners as well as a 160-degree hairpin.

Its location in the south of Italy means the Autodromo del Levante experiences favourable weather virtually throughout the year. The circuit is used regularly for motorsport events, including national rounds for single seaters, touring cars and motorcycles. Plans are afoot to extend the complex.
