Nowadays, the motorsport scene in Germany is extremely varied. As well as countless sports car and motorbike championships, rallying and motocross also enjoy huge popularity. Among the many German circuits, the Nürburgring and Hockenheimring Grand Prix circuits, which have been a permanent fixture on the Formula One calendar for decades, are held in very high esteem. Germany also boasts the most successful Formula One driver of all time in Michael Schumacher.
