Pikes Peak International Raceway is situated close to Fountain in Colorado, and was opened in 1997. Its heart is a one-mile D-oval, which hosted Indy Racing League races and various NASCAR rounds until 2005. The venue is currently regularly used for testing by NASCAR teams.

The complex also features a short oval, two different circuits in the infield plus tracks used for autocross, motocross and kart racing, and a rally stage. The Global Rallycross Championship has visited Pikes Peak International Raceway since 2011. The individual circuits and facilities are not only used throughout the year for testing, but are available for hire for company incentives, presentations and other events.
