Buttonwillow Raceway Park is operated by the California Sports Car Club. The circuit, which acts as the club's flagship, is situated in the center of the Golden State, directly beside the Interstate 5. Its trademark control tower is visible for miles around due to the surrounding flat landscape.

The circuit offers a pure driving experience for various types of motorsport, and is open to the full spectrum of sports car categories. In addition the circuit regularly hosts motorcycle and kart races. Accommodation directly beside the circuit is available in wholly owned apartments.
