The Autodromo Nazionale Monza is one of the most famous racetracks in the world. It is also known as "Royal Park", thanks to its location in the park around the neo-classical castle in the city of Monza. The circuit, which has hosted car and motorbike races since it was opened in 1922, is surrounded by similar glamour and prestige. With the exception of 1980, Monza has been the permanent venue of the Italian Grand Prix since 1950.

Up to 70 percent of the circuit can be taken at full throttle, making it extremely quick and one of the last real high-speed tracks of the modern era. Always featuring a certain degree of risk, various measures have been introduced over the years to reduce speed and increase the safety of the circuit. However, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza has still not lost any of its legendary reputation and is one of the highlights of every Formula One season.
