The origins of the large main circuit at the Willow Springs Motorsports Park date back to the early 1950s, and it can still be driven in its original form today. With its undulations and high average speeds, the track is popular among amateur drivers and professional teams alike. The facility has been extended in recent years and now offers a wide range of circuits. As well as another two road circuits, an asphalted and a non-asphalted racing oval have also been added. The Motorsports Park also features a karting track.

Located in the desert an hour north of Los Angeles, the racing centre is surrounded by sandy and rocky hills, which offer great views over the entire site. The circuit is particularly attractive in spring, when the meadows around the undulating tracks green over. As a result of its extraordinary location and traditional ties to the region, Willow Springs International Motorsports Park was declared a Point of Historical Interest by the state of California.
