The Snetterton Circuit is over 60 years old, but has recently been given a new face lift. Situated in the British county of Norfolk, the circuit was built on the site of a former military airfield in 1951. Since then, many important race events have been held at Snetterton, including the first British 24-hour race. The circuit was renovated and reopened in February 2011, just in time for its 60th birthday.

Over the course of the multi-million point modification project, a layout with multiple configurations was created. The planners were inspired by legendary corners at other racetracks, including the Parabolica in Monza and the hairpin in Montréal. Nowadays the Snetterton Circuit still hosts many racing series, including the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC), the British Formula 3 Championship, and the British Superbike Championship. The circuit is also a popular test track for racing teams and sports car enthusiasts.
