This vintage circuit situated in Anderstorp in southern Sweden is a true monument to international motorsport. Originally constructed in 1968, the circuit gained worldwide recognition through the exploits of local hero Ronnie Peterson, and remains the last Scandinavian circuit to have hosted a Formula 1 race. The winner of the first grand prix held in 1973 was New Zealand's Formula 1 World Champion Denny Hulme.

In addition to Formula 1, the motorcycle world championship was a regular visitor to the Scandinavian Raceway. Currently the circuit hosts various series, including rounds of the extremely popular Swedish Touring Car Championship.
